Please forgive this heart of mine
Seems I’ve lost all track of time
Lord, it’s not so hard to do
When I’m here alone with you

While soft snow falls
I hold you near
When nature calls
Love without fear

By the light of one Christmas Day
I had finally found my way
By the night of that New Year’s Eve
You knew just how much I believe
Then you took me by the hand
Led me into the Promised Land
Now I’ve finally found a home
Where I’ll never be alone

Look into this heart of mine
All the light your love can shine
I made a place for you to stay
Should you chose to feel that way

Still the soft snow falls
Through the midnight air
