Too Strong To Fall

Too Strong To Fall ©2014David Moody

If I didn’t have a sense of humor
I don’t think I’d have any sense at all
I’ve heard every lie and every mandatory rumor
But I was built too strong to fall

If you took all the millionaires in congress
And you asked them for some kind of sacrifice
You wouldn’t make any sense to them or any progress
Unless as you’re as slick as ice

Now I’m living on things that will kill me
And I’m dying to make things right
It’s clear and cold and frozen -
Radio’s coming in good tonight
The beat is pounding
Right here in my chest

I love the Friday midnight train
I just can’t wait to hear it again
It  brings me back home to my brain
And it’s gonna roll right through my soul
As it makes it’s way

I love the Friday midnight train
I can’t wait ‘til it comes back again
So I can hear that lonesome horn
And I know I’ll get another morning
So you can hear me say

I love the Friday midnight train
I just can’t wait to hear it again
It  brings me back home to my brain
And it’s gonna roll right through my soul
As it makes it’s way

  1. Well, that did some thinking didn't it? With your lyrics I always have to reread a paragraph or two or three or... well, you know what I mean. I love it though when I finally figure out what you're trying to say. FABULOUS!
